Dr. Sara Thompson, DVM, CVA, CCRV, CVSMT

Dr. Thompson grew up in East Troy, Wisconsin, and worked at MAH during high school, then went to undergraduate at UW-LaCrosse, and completed her veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has worked in small animal and emergency medicine in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. Dr. Thompson does general practice and surgery but has a special interest in integrative medicine. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy through The Chi Institute and animal chiropractic, or VSMT, through Options for Animals.

In her free time, she enjoys getting outdoors with her husband, Garret, and her children Adelyn, Oliver, and Penelope. She also has 2 dogs, Ryver and Rutabaga, 2 cats, Sherman and Lucille, and 2 guinea pigs, Peanut & ButterCup. She enjoys running, gardening, and cooking during any spare time she can find!

Dr. Brooke Zader, DVM, CVA

Dr. Zader grew up in East Troy and went to Mukwonago High School. She then went to undergraduate at Michigan State University and then completed her veterinary education at University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. During this time, she also completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture at Chi Institute. Dr. Zader has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a child and has volunteered at many different shelters and animal hospitals around the Mukwonago and East Troy area. During veterinary school, Dr. Zader developed special interests in dentistry, animal behavior and integrative medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Zader enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out on the lake, and swimming. She has 1 dog named Roxie who loves swimming in her pool and playing fetch.

Kadie

Veterinary Technician

Kadie has worked at the hospital since February 2018. She has 2 cats, Yeti and Nard, and 2 dogs, Sweetie and Mazikeen. She enjoys spending time with her husband AJ, time with friends, the outdoors, camping and painting. Kadie loves working with a positive and passionate staff in a caring environment, helping animals in need.

Abbey

Veterinary Technician

Abbey joined our team in March 2020. She has two dogs, Aspen and Mika, and a bird named Kiwi. Abbey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and shopping. She loves playing and taking care of the dogs. When working in our hospital she enjoys watching the animals get better when they come in sick or hurt.
