Exercises can improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. In-person sessions are supplemented with home exercise programs for you to continue the benefits of therapeutic exercise at home.

What are therapeutic exercises?

  • Body awareness exercises: Enhances balance & coordination to prevent injuries.
  • Muscle strengthening exercises: Builds muscle strength & endurance for better recovery & physical performance after surgery, injury or as your dog or cat ages.
  • Stability & balance exercises: Improves core strength & stability, reducing the risk of falls & enhancing overall mobility.
  • Veterinary sports medicine exercises: Enhances coordination, speed, and agility for improved athletic performance, rehabilitation, or return to sporting activities.

  • Post-surgical recovery after surgeries like TPLO, TTA, FHO, luxating patella correction, fracture repair, total hip replacement, elbow dysplasia surgery, osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) surgery, amputations, etc.

How long does a therapeutic session take?

Sessions typically take about 30 minutes depending on all that is needed for your individual pet. We will initially schedule a 30 minute consultation to determine what exercises and modalities will best help your pet.
